Holy City Brewing

Holy City Brewing was founded in 2011 by four friends who started out in a pedicab garage on a 15-gallon pilot system built from bicycle parts. After years at its first brewhouse on Dorchester Road, the brewery moved to a permanent home on Noisette Creek in the Park Circle area of North Charleston. The big creekside property combines a taproom with a full kitchen open daily, a raw bar called The Walrus serving oysters, ceviche and peel-and-eat shrimp on select days, and a Cabana Bar in the yard pouring a dozen beers. Service ranges from ordering at the bar to full table service. The tap list is wide, Holy City cans are available, and food can be ordered to go. Four event spaces are available, including an upstairs dining room with its own bar, a 21-and-over game room, an open courtyard, and the Porter Room overlooking the marsh.
