Shoeless Brewing Co.

Shoeless Brewing Company is a small brewery in Greenville that doubles as a homebrew supply shop, operating alongside Grape & Grains. Ken, a retired plastics-industry engineer, opened the business in January 2015 to serve Greenville’s homebrewing community, and in 2021 he sold it to co-owners Rebeca Ortega, who also brews, and Shayna Ferguson; Ken stayed on to brew and teach classes. The taproom pours small-batch beers in both traditional and newer styles, and the shop side stocks beer, wine and mead-making ingredients and equipment, along with CO2 tank sales and exchanges. A standout feature is that customers can brew their own beer or make wine on the premises, something the owners say no other spot in town offers. The owners say they have built a local following of people who come in to sample the beer and sometimes learn to brew their own, and they welcome newcomers to the hobby.
