Liability Brewing Co.

Liability Brewing Co. is a downtown Greenville brewery whose name and brand celebrate taking a little risk, delivered with a good sense of humor. The story starts with two neighbors, Dustin and Terry, trading craft beers on a back porch and later brewing together in a garage. Behind the playful branding is a serious approach to quality and the environment. Liability became a certified B Corp in 2022, captures CO2 produced during fermentation to cut its carbon footprint, sends spent grain to farm and compost partners, and favors American-grown ingredients. Its beers, including a Belgian-style blonde, a dubbel and a light lager, have collected medals at the World Beer Cup, the U.S. Open Beer Championship and the Great American Beer Festival. There is no kitchen, so guests are welcome to bring food or order delivery. The taproom is a block from a downtown trolley stop and hosts private events.
