Side Hustle Brewing Co. brews its beer in Bluffton and also pours it at The Bank, a sister location on Hilton Head Island. The brewery is led by Director of Brewing Operations Lee Holyoak, a Sydney, Australia, native who began brewing as a homebrewer and won medals at the National Homebrew Competition three years running; his beers have since been recognized at both the Great American Beer Festival and the US Open Beer Championship. The name nods to the years he spent juggling brewing with a full-time career. Holyoak blends traditional technique with more daring flavors, and the lineup ranges from clean lagers to big, hop-forward IPAs, along with Hustle Fizz hard seltzers. The beer is available on draft at both locations and in cans at retailers, so visitors can also take it home.
