New Realm Brewing

New Realm Brewing’s Charleston location is a brewery and restaurant on Daniel Island, part of a company founded in 2016 by Carey Falcone, Bob Powers and brewmaster Mitch Steele, with its flagship in Atlanta. The company’s stated aim is to question tradition and avoid going stale in any style. The Charleston brewery pours from 27 taps, covering light pilsners, hop-heavy IPAs and dark stouts along with small-batch beers brewed in house, and its lagers are conditioned for months. A wood-fired scratch kitchen uses local ingredients in a menu of smash burgers, wood-fired pizzas, mac and cheese, wings, fresh fish and salads. New Realm also distills its own whiskey, rum, vodka, gin and tequila for house cocktails. The space includes a large outdoor patio and a venue for live music and private events, with trivia and comedy on the calendar. Families are welcome, and takeout, delivery and catering are offered.
