New Groove Artisan Brewery

New Groove Artisan Brewery calls itself the first craft brewery in Boiling Springs. It was started by three owners: Jonathan Duke and Josh Dodson, homebrewers who met through the Spartanburg Brew Club, and Jeff Clark, a Boiling Springs resident and music fan. Duke’s background as a high school drumline instructor helps explain the musical name. The taproom has 20 taps devoted mostly to house-made beer, with wine, locally made mead, sodas, sparkling water and tea for anyone who prefers something else. The kitchen serves house-made meats, wings, burgers and shareable plates, along with recurring weekly specials built around wings and burgers. The owners describe the taproom as a welcoming place for everyone, making it an easy neighborhood stop for a meal and a pint.
