Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co.

Edmund’s Oast Brewing Co. is a production brewery and taproom restaurant on Charleston’s upper peninsula, part of the Pacific Box & Crate campus off King Street. The team behind it came from homebrewing, beer advocacy and small bottle shops, and opened a brewpub on the same part of the peninsula in 2014 before launching this larger brewing company in 2017. The brewhouse sits behind the taproom and sends cans and kegs to 11 states, and the website keeps an archive of past releases. The beers lean toward the playful and the unexpected while staying refreshing. The taproom runs a full bar and a kitchen that serves globally inspired dishes under executive chef Alex Yellan, and curbside to-go ordering is available. An artificial-turf lawn beside the brewery can be tented for ceremonies, receptions and fundraisers, while smaller groups can book part of the taproom.
