Stubborn Mule Restaurant & Brewery

Stubborn Mule Restaurant & Brewery is a restaurant and brewery in Landrum, in the Carolina Foothills, that pairs house-brewed beer with a from-scratch kitchen. Everything on the menu, from the dough to the garnish, is made in house with an eye toward seasonal ingredients, and the brewers keep a rotating lineup of lagers, ales and IPAs across 12 taps. A full bar adds cocktails, and non-alcoholic beers and juices are available. The property works two ways. Indoors, the dining room, bar and covered patio have table service. Outside, guests order at a walk-up bar, pick up food when a buzzer goes off and settle into the beer garden, the yard or a dedicated dog area. The yard has room for cornhole and for kids to play, and an outdoor stage hosts live music on weekends. Growlers and merchandise are sold to go.
