Lincoln & South Brewing Co.

Lincoln & South Brewing Co. bills itself as Hilton Head Island’s first brewery, and it brings a strong Vermont influence to the coast. Father-and-son founders Tom and Ryan come from the small town of Lincoln, Vermont, and longtime family vacations on the island, plus Ryan’s time at SCAD in Savannah, convinced them to bring New England-style IPAs south. Their brewhouse came from Rock Creek Brewery in Missouri, which they dismantled and hauled east themselves. After two earlier sites fell through, they settled on a tucked-away property on Island Drive with plenty of shaded outdoor space for music and art. The core lineup centers on an IPA, a double IPA and a crisp pilsner. The kitchen serves house-made charcuterie boards, burgers, sandwiches, tacos and a kids’ menu. Seating is first come, first served, and parts of the property or the whole venue can be rented for weddings and other events.
