Slow Play Brewing

Slow Play Brewing is a Rock Hill brewery whose name and motto, a reminder to slow down while life moves fast, set the tone for an easygoing taproom with indoor seating and a patio. Its beer is distributed in York and Lancaster counties, down I-77 to Columbia and across the rest of South Carolina. The brewery also makes its own Active Player hard seltzer, keeps a guest cider and wine for gluten-free drinkers, and offers craft sodas and a non-alcoholic beer. Food comes through a partnership with Surefire Market. Beer goes home in the brewery’s own 32-ounce crowlers rather than customer growlers, and sixtel kegs can be bought for personal use. Leashed dogs are welcome on the patio, children are welcome with an adult, and seating is first come, first served. An Artist of the Month program puts a different artist in the spotlight.
