Old Mill Brewpub

Old Mill Brewpub is a family-owned restaurant and brewery inside Lexington’s historic Old Mill, a former cotton mill dating to the early 1890s that was converted into a shopping center in the 1980s. The building’s past is part of the draw: the mill once generated its own power from a millpond, had a private rail spur, and made cotton for mattresses and cloth for uniforms. Head brewers Matt Rodgers and Linus Oliver run a small-batch system producing roughly 465 gallons of house beer a month, and the brewhouse is visible to guests. A full kitchen serves a broad pub menu, making this a spot for a meal as much as a pint. Three separate rooms can be reserved for parties and events, with catering from the kitchen and bar.
