Savage Craft Ale Works

Savage Craft Ale Works is a veteran-owned brewery in West Columbia whose owners carry the service and commitment they learned in the military into the business. Beer is brewed on site, and the bar adds wine and cocktails. The building spreads across a taproom, a dog-friendly biergarten and a 21-and-over rooftop bar, with an elevator serving the upper levels. The kitchen goes beyond typical brewery fare with dishes such as a Cuban sandwich with mojo pork, braised short rib on sourdough and Mediterranean lamb on pita, along with a brunch menu. Families are welcome in the taproom and biergarten, though the rooftop is adults only and dogs must stay outside in the biergarten. Weekly live music and large free seasonal parties are part of the calendar, and two private spaces handle weddings, meetings and other events. Free public parking is close by.
