Model A Brewing

Model A Brewing is the first brewery in Tega Cay, a community on Lake Wylie in York County whose Polynesian name means “beautiful peninsula.” Its founders, longtime Tega Cay residents, built it after tiring of driving to other towns to visit breweries, and their stated aim is a family-friendly spot with craft beer, good food and quick, friendly service. The team brings restaurant experience, including president Jeremy’s 26 years in food and beverage. The seven-barrel brewhouse is led by head brewer Jerod Jones, who has nearly 20 years of brewing experience and focuses on classic beers made true to style. The kitchen offers wings in many sauces, smash burgers, a large Bavarian pretzel, fried okra, Phillies, wraps, quesabirria, salads, bowls and a kids’ menu. A mug club is available for regulars.
