Quigley’s Pint & Plate

Quigley’s Pint & Plate is a brewpub in Pawleys Island that Josh Quigley and Billy Davis opened in March 2007. The idea was an English-style pub with a relaxed, Southern feel, where locals and visitors can settle in without being hurried. Beer is brewed on site, and the restaurant side carries equal weight: the kitchen serves lunch and dinner built around American comfort food with a strong Lowcountry accent, from seared tuna to a steak and black-eyed pea chili made with brown ale, at moderate prices. Guests can eat in the dining room, at the bar or on a covered patio overlooking a pond, and the restaurant is family-friendly. Reservations are recommended. Next door, a separate private event space called Quigley’s Next Door seats about 60 indoors and handles up to 200 for indoor-outdoor receptions, with catering and bar service from the brewpub.
